Since the very beginning of my 5-year long higher technical vocational school, I’ve been experimenting and creating new images with Photoshop or other programs from the Adobe Suite. I use it to express myself creatively and sometimes for fun to pass time.

Because of that, I started becoming known as the „media technician“ around my friends, since I was always coming up with random new designs all the time – even during class. After five years of learning media technology in school and several personal projects, I can make almost any idea/vision come to life in my designs.

I mainly work within the Adobe Suite. With tools like Photoshop, Adobe Xd. InDesign and tons of hours invested, I can express my creativity nearly without any restrictions.

.Forty-Five
.Forty-Five is being created as part of a final school project of a higher technical school (HTL Rennweg) located in Vienna, Austria. In the final year of the school, every student in an Austrian higher vocational school has to do a diploma thesis and a project alongside it. Our project, .Forty-Five, includes implementing and creating everything necessary for the game, applying the project management skills learned during the five years of school, as well as ensuring a successful release on Steam.

For the Team, .Forty-Five is a creative playground in which the team pours its soul trying to bring the best and most fun experience to the player. Additionally, no AI is involved in the process. All ideas and designs are 100% human-made, as weird as they might sound! My personal task was mainly to design the UI of the game in coorperation with Philip Jankovic, create the trailer , manage it's discord server as well as design Social Media posts and pretty much everything for the game's online appearance. Here are some insights on what I've worked on.

Mia Hunold Design

Mia Hunold Design is a clothing brand startup, that sells footwear, watches, clothes and other accessories. I helped them design their website and tried my best at creating a modern and elegant website with a rich feeling to it. I chose a color palette that represents their brands and product. Here is an insight of my Adobe Xd file.

Vision Branding Book

In my fifth year of the higher technical vocational school, task was to design a Branding Book of an imaginary company. I chose to make a rebranding of a company called "Vision", which is a messaging platform, similar to Discord.

Rennweg Weatherstation

For the open door day of my school in 2024, me and Philip Jankovic were assigned to define design rules in form of a Branding Book, as well as a floor plan of the school and other graphics to help people orient around our school better.

We first started off by sharing an Adobe Xd file, and creating a color palette that is warm and playful so it appears appealing to a younger audience, while also representing our school's colors (blue and orange). The Logo also includes a character (the orange blob with eyes) that later on reappears several times across the school, giving you instructions and guiding you through the house.

ExpertenWerk Flyer + Logo

A friend of mine made his own StartUp, called "Expertenwerk", is an IT-Company, based in Austria, which helps people with less information-technology knowledge with their needs. I was hired to develop a Logo, Flyer and choose a color palette. To keep it simple, I used purple-ish tones, since they are often used to represent creativity and knowledge, which fits the idea of a company that always has a solution ready for their customers.

Thumbnails

Through the videogame "osu!" I've met a lot of players and commissioned Thumbnails for Youtubers in this scene solely out of fun, to train my routine with photoshop and to earn a little pocket money on the side. I have developed my own style for this genre, but also learned about the fundamentals of Youtube Thumbnails.

This Website

This Porfolio was also quite a big project that I have worked on for a few weeks, from buying a domain, creating a wireframe and MockUp in Adobe Xd. I wanted a modern website that displays my work properly, so I decided to create a short video loop, presenting my proudest work right at the start of the website. I attach importance on consistency and a clean Layer-structure in my Adobe Xd projects. I then realized it within WordPress + Elementor on an empty canvas.
